THE HIDDEN MEANING

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

“Christ is joy.” That’s my name: “the hidden meaning”. My identity. The central message of who I am.

CHRIST IS JOY.

When you spell it all out, He’s all that matters. If you get nothing else from this blog and never read another word I write, I pray the reality of “the hidden meaning” of my name will change your life…

Because He is Joy. He is Life. Jesus is the Reason for our whole existence. He is the Giver of every breath we breathe. The Lifeblood of every beating heart. The Creator of everything we see (and cannot see). Sustainer of the Universe. Author of History.

And so much more…

He is eternal: without beginning and without end. He is the Savior of mankind, born as a man to die as a man on a cruel Roman Cross and pay the penalty for the sin of the entire world: yours, mine, and every person’s who has ever walked or will walk on this planet.  He is the all-powerful, resurrected Messiah, Lord of All, Who rose from the dead as God to break the power of death forever. And He lives forever in Heaven: never to die again. He is Unstoppable. Unconquerable. The Mighty Warrior who slays the Dragon. Triumph personified. The Hero of the ages.

And so much more…

He is Kindness. He is Patience. He is the Prince of Peace. The Good Shepherd Who carries weak ones in His arms. The Strong Shepherd Who defends His little ones from the wolves. The Deliverer for every captive. The Healer of every broken heart. He is the Quencher of unquenchable thirst. The Restorer of lost years. The Answer to unanswerable questions. The Source of everything beautiful. The Beautifier of everything ugly. The Fixer of everything broken. The End of everything evil.

And so much more…

He is King of Kings. Lord of Lords. Judge of all. Perfect Righteousness. Incorruptible Goodness. Hope by name, Faith personified, and Love in the very essence of all that He is. He is The Desire of Nations. The One we long for. The One We Search for. The One we have hungered for all of our lives. The Only One Who can satisfy. The Only One Who can save.

His name is JESUS CHRIST and He is all of this…

And so much more!
